Aging

Every day, 10,000 U.S. citizens turn 65 years old.

By the year 2030, nearly one in five Americans will be age 65 or older, versus about one in eight before the baby boomer retirement started. Accessibility will become a growing issue in our national dialogue as society ages. Sprint is proud to serve our aging customers with a variety of communications products and services.
  • For the past 25 years, Sprint has been the nation’s premier provider of Telecommunications Relay Services (TRS). Currently Sprint is the TRS provider in 33 states and the TRS provider for the federal government, as well as for New Zealand.
  • Sprint offers accessible devices such as Kyocera Verve, a wireless feature phone with adjustable font sizes, text-to-speech functionality, a dedicated 911 key and an In Case of Emergency (ICE) button.
