At Sprint, we take pride in being a military-friendly company and are committed to providing resources and programs to assist veterans, active military personnel and their families.
By supporting the military and expressing our gratitude to those who serve our country, Sprint demonstrates how good corporate citizenship works to help move veterans - and our nation - forward.
Some of the ways we support military employees include providing mentors to all veteran employees upon request. We ensure that employees who are involuntarily called to active Reserve or National Guard duty are eligible to apply for differential pay (with a copy of their orders) to keep their pay whole while serving.
Sprint also offers a veteran-focused employee resource group called VETS - Veterans and Employees helping others Through Sprint. The group, which has more than 800 active members across 38 states, gathers feedback from employees after deployments about their experience with Sprint’s support.
Our commitment to hiring military veterans and offering great benefits for military employees and their families has received widespread recognition. G.I. Jobs recently named Sprint to its Military Friendly Employer list for the tenth year in a row. And 2015 marks the seventh year that Civilian Jobs has named Sprint a Most Valuable Employer for Military.
